Previously, I was an Elementary Assistant Principal in the Williamsport Area School District, and before that I taught for six years in the East Penn School District as a fourth grade teacher. I graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, and received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Lehigh University in 2007. During this time at Lehigh I received Certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Middle Level English. Throughout the 2009-2010 school year I studied website design at Northampton Community College. I returned to Lehigh in 2010 and received my K-12 Principal Certification and my Supervisor of Curriculum & Instruction Certification. In the summer of 2011 I became an Apple Distinguished Educator, and in the spring of 2012 I became a Google Certified Teacher. When I am not educating or going to school, I enjoy eating steak and pizza, exercising, reading books, and playing on my computer.
Work with Me
While the work I do with my current district is my top priority, I do regularly engage in speaking and consulting. A list of what I have previously offered can be found here and testimonials are here. I am open to new topics/ideas, and anything can be tailored to meet the needs of a specific audience.
